Job Summary
A leading commercial general contractor in South Florida is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to provide senior-level field leadership across multiple large-scale commercial construction projects in the Deerfield Beach and Broward County area.
This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a proven construction leader with deep experience in site development, structural concrete, high-rise or mid-rise construction, and complex ground-up commercial projects. The General Superintendent will oversee field operations, mentor Project Superintendents, guide construction execution strategy, and help ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to exceptional quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive-level oversight for multiple active commercial construction projects across South Florida.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Project Superintendents, field teams, and subcontractor partners.
- Develop and guide site logistics, sequencing, construction execution plans, and field coordination strategies.
- Oversee sitework, utilities, structural concrete, vertical construction, inspections, and project closeout.
- Monitor safety, productivity, quality, budgets, and schedules through regular site visits and leadership meetings.
- Build strong working relationships with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, municipal agencies, and trade partners.
Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $140,000 to $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Full-time position.
- 100% on-site role based in Deerfield Beach, FL.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Oversee multiple concurrent commercial construction projects from field execution through closeout.
- Lead and develop Superintendents and field personnel across complex commercial job sites.
- Manage site development, structural concrete, high-rise or mid-rise construction, and commercial building coordination.
- Drive project safety, schedule performance, quality control, subcontractor coordination, and issue resolution.
- 15+ years of experience with reputable commercial general contractors.
- Previous experience as a General Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, Area Superintendent, Regional Superintendent, or similar senior field leadership role.
- Strong experience managing multiple Superintendents and concurrent commercial construction projects.
- Extensive knowledge of site development, earthwork, utilities, deep foundations, structural concrete, and commercial building systems.
- Proven ability to lead large field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners in fast-paced construction environments.
- Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, sequencing, field logistics, inspections, and coordination.
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, conflict-resolution, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, accountability, and long-term career stability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with high-rise concrete structures, mid-rise buildings, parking structures, multifamily, mixed-use, industrial, or large commercial facilities.
- Background working with a major structural concrete contractor in addition to commercial general contractor experience.
- Stable employment history with long tenures at respected construction firms.
- Strong relationships and credibility with owners, subcontractors, consultants, and construction professionals in the South Florida market.
