Job Summary

We're seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Front Desk Admin to support a busy outpatient health facility in Aiken, SC. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being the go-to person who keeps everything running smoothly.

Every day, you'll help patients feel welcome, coordinate appointments, support clinical staff, and contribute to a positive office atmosphere. You'll join a respected healthcare team of approximately 20 clinicians who are dedicated to providing quality care to the community.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome patients and assist with check-in for appointments in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Answer incoming phone calls, provide customer service, and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Schedule and reschedule appointments for clinical and medical staff.
- Obtain patient vital signs for telehealth physician appointments.
- Update patient demographic and financial information during the check-in process.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality while supporting daily front office operations.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $15.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
- Assignment Length: Temporary assignment expected to last at least 3 months, with the possibility of extension.
- Long-Term Opportunity: The client anticipates opening a permanent position that qualified temporary employees may apply for.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage front desk patient check-in, scheduling, and daily administrative support.
- Support clinical and medical staff by coordinating appointments and patient information.
- Assist patients in a health care setting with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.
- Maintain accurate records while protecting patient confidentiality and privacy.

- 1 to 2 years of administrative, receptionist, front desk, or related customer service experience preferred.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, calm, professional demeanor when interacting with patients and staff.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay focused in a fast-paced healthcare office.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to computer programs and software systems.
- Comfortable working in an outpatient health care environment.
- Must be able to complete a background check and 10-panel drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in a healthcare office, medical front desk, or outpatient clinic setting.
- Experience scheduling patient appointments and updating patient demographic or financial information.
- Familiarity with patient confidentiality standards and professional healthcare office procedures.
