Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Fleet Assistant for a temp-to-hire opportunity supporting a large-scale vehicle documentation and key organization project in the Los Angeles, CA area. This administrative support role is ideal for someone who is organized, reliable, and comfortable handling repetitive but important project work with accuracy.
The Fleet Assistant will support fleet operations for an industrial construction and infrastructure environment, helping prepare key tags, vehicle wallets, labels, and shipment tracking for more than 2,000 vehicles. This is a great opportunity for an entry-level administrative candidate who wants to gain hands-on experience in fleet support, documentation control, and operations administration.

Key Responsibilities
- Create key tags and labels for a high volume of fleet vehicles.
- Print, sort, organize, and maintain key-related materials with accuracy.
- Compile documents and prepare vehicle wallets for more than 2,000 vehicles.
- Mail vehicle wallets to drivers and track deliveries to ensure completion.
- Maintain organized records and support project documentation needs.
- Assist with fleet-related administrative tasks at the Commerce location and occasional Pasadena needs using a company vehicle.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Location: Los Angeles, CA, with primary work in Commerce and occasional support in Pasadena using a company vehicle.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Create and organize key tags, labels, and printed materials for fleet vehicles.
- Compile vehicle wallet documents for a large-scale fleet project.
- Mail and track deliveries to drivers.
- Support fleet administration and project documentation.
- Less than 1 year of experience required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy with high-volume tasks.
- Basic administrative, clerical, printing, labeling, sorting, and document organization skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, stay organized, and meet project deadlines.
- Comfortable handling repetitive administrative tasks with consistency.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to travel between the Commerce location and Pasadena as needed using a company vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior administrative, fleet, logistics, mailroom, records, or document control experience.
- Experience with labeling, printing, sorting, filing, or shipment tracking.
- Comfort working in a construction, industrial, facilities, infrastructure, or operations support environment.
