Job Summary

A stable, established land development company in the Murrieta/Temecula area is seeking an experienced Executive Administrative Assistant to support the CEO while also managing professional front-office and receptionist responsibilities. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a highly organized administrative professional with recent land development industry experience.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership in a small, professional office environment where accuracy, discretion, communication, and follow-through are highly valued. The right candidate will enjoy being a trusted point of contact for the CEO, internal staff, consultants, engineers, attorneys, government agencies, visitors, and callers.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the CEO's calendar, appointments, correspondence, and daily administrative priorities.
- Answer and screen incoming phone calls, greet visitors, and maintain a professional front-office presence.
- Prepare polished letters, emails, documents, reports, and other business communications.
- Coordinate meetings, track follow-up items, and communicate with consultants, engineers, attorneys, and government agencies.
- Maintain organized electronic and paper files related to office operations and land development projects.
- Assist with general office administration, project follow-up, and confidential executive support tasks.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $28.00 to $33.00 per hour.
- Employment type: Temp-to-hire.
- Location: Murrieta, CA.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Provide direct executive administrative support to the CEO.
- Manage executive calendar coordination, correspondence, and follow-up.
- Support front-office reception, phone screening, visitor greeting, and office administration.
- Coordinate communication with consultants, engineers, attorneys, and government agencies.

- Recent experience working in the land development industry is required.
- 6-10 years of executive assistant, senior administrative, or closely related office support experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare professional letters, emails, and documents.
- Excellent organization, time management, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Professional telephone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
- Dependable, mature, and comfortable working in a small professional office environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience supporting a CEO, owner, president, or senior executive.
- Experience coordinating with engineers, attorneys, consultants, municipalities, or government agencies.
- Background in construction, land development, real estate development, civil engineering, infrastructure, or related project-based environments.
- Strong file management skills for both electronic and paper records.
