Job Summary

We are hiring Event Staff for a private movie studio screening at a movie theater venue in Nashville, TN. This contract opportunity is ideal for professional, energetic, and customer-focused candidates who enjoy fast-paced event environments, guest interaction, and supporting smooth audience operations.

This is a great opportunity to gain event staffing experience in the entertainment venue and theatre industry while working with a coordinated event team. Staff will receive clear direction from event leadership and will play an important role in creating a polished, organized, and welcoming guest experience. Although this is a movie screening, staff members will be assigned operational duties and will not be watching the film.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome guests and support audience check-in throughout the event.
- Provide directions, answer basic questions, and help manage guest flow inside the venue.
- Use mobile applications to assist with event operations and audience coordination.
- Support studio representatives, event leadership, and onsite team members as needed.
- Move quickly throughout the venue, including frequent stair use and active walking.
- Assist with additional event-related tasks as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $20.00 per hour.
- Paid lunch break included.
- Schedule: Monday, July 27, 2026, from 3:45 PM to 10:45 PM.
- Location: Nashville, TN.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Positions available: 22.
- Prompt arrival at 3:45 PM is required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support private movie studio screening operations.
- Manage guest check-in and audience flow.
- Assist event leadership and studio representatives.
- Use mobile applications to complete event support tasks.

- 1 to 2 years of experience in event staffing, hospitality, guest services, customer service, promotions, concierge, or related work preferred.
- Professional, polished, friendly, and outgoing communication style.
- Strong customer service skills and comfort interacting with guests, clients, and event leaders.
- Tech-savvy and able to learn mobile phone applications quickly.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions in a fast-paced event setting.
- Able to stand and walk for most of a seven-hour shift.
- Able to climb stairs frequently and work at an energetic pace.
- Comfortable spending a portion of the shift outdoors.
- Must wear business-casual attire. No jeans, tennis shoes, shorts, skirts, or T-shirts. Slacks with a dress shirt, blouse, or button-up shirt are preferred. Short sleeves are acceptable.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience supporting audience coordination, private events, screenings, theatre events, promotional events, or high-volume guest check-in.
- Experience using mobile apps or digital tools for event operations.
- Comfortable working in entertainment, hospitality, theatre, or public-facing event environments.
