Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Estimator, Sales, PM for a direct hire opportunity in Los Angeles, CA, supporting fire sprinkler and fire protection projects within industrial facilities and infrastructure construction. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented construction professional who can estimate projects, manage installations, coordinate with customers and contractors, and help drive projects from bid through completion.
The Estimator, Sales, PM will join a collaborative, team-focused environment where communication, accountability, and practical problem solving are highly valued. Key Responsibilities
- Review construction contract documents, fire protection drawings, specifications, contracts, and change orders to support accurate project execution.
- Estimate, sell, and manage fire sprinkler system installation projects while maintaining schedules, budgets, documentation, and customer communication.
- Coordinate with general contractors, owners, subcontractors, design teams, field staff, fabrication teams, and internal departments to ensure successful project handoff and completion.
- Track project labor, material costs, purchase orders, change orders, RFIs, permits, submissions, billing, and project records to protect project financial health.
- Perform estimating tasks including hydraulic calculations, seismic bracing layout and pricing, underground system bids, hydrant calculations, and project database updates.
- Manage multiple active projects, identify changing conditions, recommend solutions, and maintain professional customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $100,000 to $120,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Estimate fire sprinkler and fire protection projects using construction drawings, specifications, hydraulic calculations, and project requirements.
- Manage fire sprinkler installation projects from turnover through completion, including schedules, budgets, documentation, change orders, and customer communication.
- Coordinate closely with design, field, fabrication, sales, general contractors, owners, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Track project costs, labor, materials, RFIs, permits, billing, purchase orders, and change orders to support accurate project performance.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in estimating, sales, project management, construction coordination, or fire protection project delivery.
- Experience with fire sprinkler systems, construction documents, project specifications, and contract requirements.
- Ability to read and understand fire protection drawings, construction drawings, contracts, and change orders.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic calculations, seismic bracing, underground systems, hydrant calculations, and fire sprinkler project estimating.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, shifting priorities, schedules, budgets, and customer expectations.
- Professional communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers, contractors, field teams, and internal departments.
- Strong recordkeeping skills and comfort maintaining organized digital project files and documentation.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, leadership ability, and willingness to contribute experience-based ideas while learning from others.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with industrial facilities, infrastructure construction, or commercial fire protection projects.
- Prior experience coordinating project kickoff meetings, fabrication schedules, field surveys, project turnover, and cross-department handoffs.
- Familiarity with fire sprinkler fabrication workflows, permitting processes, submittals, and construction project billing cycles.
