A growing Florida law practice is seeking an Estate Planning & Probate Attorney to join its client-focused legal team in Venice, FL. Key Responsibilities

- Advise clients on estate planning strategies, probate avoidance, succession planning, and related Florida estate law matters.
- Draft, review, and revise wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, probate filings, and estate administration documents.
- Manage probate and estate administration matters from initial consultation through completion.
- Counsel personal representatives, trustees, executors, beneficiaries, and families throughout the estate administration process.
- Coordinate with beneficiaries, financial institutions, accountants, government agencies, and other professionals.
- Maintain accurate case files, monitor deadlines, resolve estate administration issues, and ensure matters progress efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $70,000 to $85,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage estate planning matters, including client consultations, strategy development, and document preparation.
- Handle probate and estate administration files from intake through final distribution.
- Advise fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and clients on legal options, obligations, and timelines.
- Prepare and review estate, trust, probate, and administration documents with accuracy and attention to detail.

- Active Florida Bar license in good standing.
- 2+ years of relevant legal experience.
- Strong estate planning, estate administration, and probate experience.
- Solid knowledge of Florida estate, trust, and probate law.
- Excellent legal drafting, research, negotiation, and client communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage matters while collaborating with attorneys and other professionals.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and deadline management.
- Professional, personable, and client-focused approach.
- Ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and practically.
