We are seeking an experienced Estate Manager for a direct hire opportunity in San Clemente, CA. This role is ideal for a polished, proactive, and highly organized household operations leader who thrives in a private estate environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.
The Estate Manager will serve as the central point of coordination for multiple private residences, overseeing household staff, vendors, property standards, maintenance, events, inventories, and day-to-day operations. This is a true leadership role requiring confidence, discretion, warmth, strong follow-through, and the ability to keep multiple properties running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across multiple private residences, including interior and exterior property walkthroughs, quality checks, fix-it lists, and household standards.
- Supervise, schedule, and support household staff, including cleaning personnel, cooks, handymen, pet care support, and project team members.
- Coordinate vendors, repairs, maintenance, household services, events, and special projects while tracking timelines, budgets, and quality of work.
- Manage household inventories, including groceries, cleaning supplies, toiletries, clothing, travel supplies, and other household needs.
- Create and maintain household manuals, checklists, procedures, and systems to ensure consistency across all properties.
- Support principals and guests as needed, including travel preparation, event support, vendor coordination, and hands-on service when necessary.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $95,000 to $120,000 per year.
- Exempt position.
- Compensation is commensurate with skills.
- Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Occasional weekends and evenings required.
- On-call availability required.

- Manage daily household operations across multiple private residences.
- Lead and supervise household staff, vendors, handymen, cooks, and project teams.
- Track household budgets, purchasing, staffing, maintenance, vendor invoices, and project costs.
- Maintain property standards through inspections, checklists, household manuals, and follow-through.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in estate management, household management, executive household support, or a similar high-service role.
- Experience supervising staff and assigning work based on team strengths.
- Strong vendor management, scheduling, project coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented private household environment.
- Strong computer and technology skills, with comfort using Apple platforms.
- Knowledge of complex household systems, including Savant or similar smart home technology.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and service skills.
- Calm, personable, discreet, and professional demeanor.
- Strong process management, time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Self-starter with a hands-on attitude and a strong sense of ownership.
- Flexible schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, overtime, and on-call needs.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience managing multiple private residences or high-end estate properties.
- Experience coordinating private events, travel preparation, pet care, meal planning, and household inventories.
- Experience supporting home improvement, renovation, or special property projects.
- Background working with high standards of discretion, confidentiality, and personalized service.
