Essential Responsibilities
Dispatch & Load Management
-Assign, dispatch, and monitor drayage moves with Licensed Motor Carriers (LMCs).
Job Duties
-Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
-Ensuring real-time shipment visibility, maintaining operational compliance, and delivering exceptional customer service.
-Partners closely with internal departments and external carriers to ensure timely pickups, deliveries, accurate documentation, and proactive resolution of operational exceptions.
-Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, carriers, and suppliers.
-Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders, from order entry to final delivery and empty return appointment.
-Monitor shipments and communicate with carriers to ensure on-time delivery.
-Manage and resolve customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.
-Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
-Continuously look for ways to improve customer satisfaction and service.
-Monitor containers through terminals system.
-Provide dispatch and drivers with support as need it.
-Ensure all accessorial costs are approved in writing and scanned into TMS system.
-Update empty status and monitor empties restriction with customer notification.
