Role: Document Processing Associate
Pay: $16.50/hour
Assignment: Support document processing operations by preparing, scanning, inspecting, compiling, assembling, and maintaining documents according to company quality and productivity standards.
Location: 5575 Venture Drive, Unit D, Parma, OH 44130 (Free Parking)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Overtime may be available)
What you'll do:
• Separate, sort, and open incoming mail.
• Prepare documents for scanning and digital processing.
• Perform scanning, inspection, compiling, assembling, and binding of documents.
• Process customer projects accurately and efficiently while meeting quality standards.
• Operate and utilize scanning and document processing equipment, including KODAK scanners.
• Maintain production and customer service standards by completing work accurately and on time.
• Meet established productivity goals, including Time Productive statistics and Impressions per Hour (IPH) standards.
• Perform basic machine maintenance, including clearing paper jams, refilling toner, and replacing machine oil.
• Report machine errors and equipment issues using working knowledge of machine codes.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately, legibly, and on time.
• Communicate operational issues and concerns promptly to management.
• Maintain an organized workstation to prevent processing and assembly errors.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment while maintaining quality standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand instructions in English.
• Basic computer skills for training and scanning operations.
• Basic typing skills.
• Previous experience in document processing, printing, scanning, or a related industry is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain positive working relationships.
• Must be adaptable, flexible, and able to manage changing priorities.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
• Comfortable working in a production environment with moderate to high noise levels.
• Ability to work under moderate stress and in a fast-paced setting.
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, twist, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift and move items weighing between 10 and 50 lbs.
• Availability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
