Job Summary
A Document Coordinator/Technical Writer is needed for a 3 to 4 month contract supporting a documentation and knowledge management initiative in an on-site accounting services environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented documentation professional with recent, hands-on Atlassian Confluence experience who enjoys organizing information, improving knowledge access, and creating clear documentation structures that teams can rely on.
The Document Coordinator/Technical Writer will help migrate, standardize, and improve internal documentation from multiple sources into Confluence, building a structured and searchable knowledge base. This opportunity offers a focused project environment, steady Monday through Friday hours, and the chance to partner with collaborative teams on a high-impact documentation improvement effort.

Must have hands-on Atlassian Confluence experience within the last 2 years.
Candidates without recent Confluence experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, organize, and maintain internal documentation within Atlassian Confluence.
- Standardize documentation structures, page templates, naming conventions, and taxonomy.
- Migrate content from Box, Microsoft Office files, PDFs, and other documentation sources into Confluence.
- Improve document consistency, searchability, usability, and overall knowledge base organization.
- Partner with internal teams to identify missing, outdated, or inconsistent documentation.
- Recommend documentation process improvements and potential tools such as Scribe, Rovo, or similar solutions.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $30 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Duration: 3 to 4 month contract.
- Work arrangement: On-site.
- Location: Bellevue, WA.
- Start: ASAP.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage documentation organization and migration into Atlassian Confluence.
- Create and apply standardized documentation templates, structures, and taxonomy.
- Consolidate content from Box, Microsoft Office files, PDFs, and other sources.
- Support the development of a structured, searchable internal knowledge base.
- Must have recent, hands-on Atlassian Confluence experience within the last 2 years.
- Candidates without recent Confluence experience will not be considered.
- At least 3 years of technical writing, document coordination, or documentation management experience.
- Strong ability to organize, structure, and standardize documentation for usability and searchability.
- Experience working with multi-source documentation, including Box, Office files, PDFs, and similar content repositories.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to gather information from cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work on-site in Bellevue, WA, Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with documentation tools, workflow tools, or automation tools such as Scribe, Rovo, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting knowledge management, internal documentation libraries, or content migration projects.
- Background working in accounting, auditing, financial services, or professional services environments.
