We are seeking a Dispatcher for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Van Nuys, CA within the energy and utilities industry. The Dispatcher will play a key role in supporting field operations by communicating with technicians, assisting existing clients by phone and email, and helping ensure service requests are handled efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch technicians to service locations throughout the Valley and Los Angeles area.
- Communicate with existing clients by phone and email regarding service needs, scheduling updates, and general inquiries.
- Coordinate daily technician routes and help adjust schedules based on customer needs and service priorities.
- Track service calls, update records, and maintain accurate dispatch-related information.
- Provide professional customer service while helping resolve scheduling questions or service concerns.
- Support office and field teams to help ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $25 to $26 per hour.

- 1 to 2 years of dispatching, customer service, client care, or related office support experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles area.
- Excellent phone and email communication skills.
- Ability to stay organized while managing multiple service calls, schedules, and priorities.
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach.
- Comfortable working in a casual office environment as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience dispatching technicians or field service teams.
- Experience in the energy, utilities, HVAC, construction, maintenance, or service industry.
- Familiarity with dispatch software, scheduling systems, or customer service databases.
