We are seeking a motivated Design-Build Consultant in the Landscape space to join our growing design-build team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting with homeowners, transforming ideas into creative outdoor environments, and guiding projects from the initial consultation through installation.
This is not a desk-only design position. You'll work directly with clients, collaborate with construction teams, and play a key role in helping customers envision and invest in outdoor spaces that enhance the way they live.

What You'll Do:
- Meet with prospective clients to discuss goals, lifestyles, budgets, and project expectations.
- Develop creative landscape concepts, site plans, and presentation materials.
- Prepare project proposals, budgets, and phased construction recommendations.
- Present designs and guide clients through the decision-making process.
- Partner with project managers and field teams to ensure projects are built according to plan.
- Visit active job sites to verify design intent and address field adjustments.
- Manage project revisions and change orders when needed.
- Assist with project budgeting, cost tracking, and overall project success.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the design and construction process.
- Identify new business opportunities through referrals, networking, and relationship building.
- Collaborate with fellow designers and operations staff to develop innovative solutions for clients.
What We're Looking For:
- Degree in Landscape Design, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of professional landscape design experience (residential focused).
- Strong proficiency with CAD software and digital design tools.
- Ability to communicate ideas effectively through drawings, renderings, and presentations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to lead client meetings.
- Self-motivated with excellent organization and time management abilities.
- Creative problem solver with an eye for detail and design aesthetics.
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
- Previous sales or client consulting experience.
Preferred Experience:
- Design-build landscape industry experience.
- Landscape construction knowledge and field experience.
- Irrigation and landscape lighting design.
- SketchUp or 3D rendering software.
- Estimating, budgeting, and project costing experience.
- Plant knowledge and horticultural background.
Full time, on site position, direct hire opportunity, $65-75k + commission compensation
