Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Compliance Specialist for a 4 month assignment in Jacksonville, FL. This role supports the correction and processing of historical Hours of Service records to improve data accuracy and help maintain compliance with federal recordkeeping requirements.

This is a strong opportunity for candidates with data entry, records processing, records management, audit support, claims processing, quality assurance, document control, or administrative compliance experience. Key Responsibilities

- Review and correct historical Hours of Service records using established procedures and quality control standards.
- Identify and correct reporting discrepancies to support accurate compliance documentation.
- Add missing limbo time activities based on supporting records and documentation.
- Verify record accuracy before final processing and submission.
- Enter data accurately into company systems while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee, operational, and compliance-related records.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay range: $25 to $32 per hour.
- Employment type: Contract/Temporary.
- Location: Jacksonville, FL.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Correct historical Hours of Service records and related reporting discrepancies.
- Review supporting documentation and append missing record details.
- Enter and verify compliance-related data in company systems.
- Support recordkeeping, audit readiness, and administrative compliance initiatives.

- 1 to 2 years of relevant administrative, data entry, records processing, or compliance support experience.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to follow detailed written procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Ability to process large volumes of records while maintaining consistency and accuracy.
- Strong data entry, keyboarding, organizational, and administrative skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to meet established production and quality standards.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling employee and operational records.
- Associate Degree or 2-year Degree required.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior Hours of Service experience is beneficial but not required.
- Experience in records management, claims processing, audit support, quality assurance, document control, or administrative compliance.
- Experience working with regulated records, operational documentation, or high-volume data correction projects.
