Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Base Administrator for a contract/temporary opportunity on the Central Peninsula, supporting safety and security data operations within the government and public sector. This role is ideal for a data-focused administrative professional who enjoys organizing information, preparing reports, identifying trends, and supporting cross-functional reporting needs.

The Data Base Administrator will provide administrative, data entry, and reporting support while helping maintain accurate safety-related information. This position offers the opportunity to work in a structured, mission-driven environment with collaborative teams, supportive leadership, and meaningful work that contributes to public safety and operational awareness.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide administrative support and accurate data entry for safety and security reporting activities.
- Collect, review, process, and analyze safety-related data to support reporting and decision-making.
- Prepare reports, charts, dashboards, and presentation materials based on data findings.
- Analyze safety information to identify trends, patterns, and areas requiring further review.
- Develop and maintain a repository of safety information for improved tracking and accessibility.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support reporting requests, KPI tracking, and accident and incident report analysis.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $38.00 to $42.00 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Location: Central Peninsula, CA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Provide administrative and data support to the Data Analyst III, Safety & Security.
- Compile, analyze, and organize safety-related information, including Accident & Incident Reports.
- Create reporting tools, dashboards, charts, checklists, and project management tracking materials.
- Support cross-department reporting requests and KPI tracking processes.

- 3-5 years of relevant administrative support, data support, reporting, or database-related experience.
- Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to review, organize, and analyze data to identify trends and patterns.
- Experience preparing reports, dashboards, charts, or presentation materials.
- Proficiency with office productivity and data management tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple reporting tasks and deadlines.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments.
- Professional judgment and discretion when handling safety-related information.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting safety, security, operations, public sector, transportation, or government-related reporting functions.
- Familiarity with KPI tracking, project management tools, checklists, or data repositories.
- Experience assisting with accident, incident, compliance, or risk-related reporting.
