We are seeking a detail-oriented Customs Specialist for a direct hire opportunity in Miami, FL. This role is ideal for a logistics and international trade professional with experience in customs brokerage, import documentation, and import/export administration.

The Customs Specialist will play a key role in supporting smooth cross-border logistics operations by preparing documentation, coordinating with customs authorities, tracking shipments, and maintaining clear communication with clients and stakeholders. 

Responsibilities

- Prepare, review, and submit import and export documentation in compliance with customs regulations.
- Coordinate with customs authorities, clients, carriers, and internal teams to support timely shipment clearance.
- Track shipments and monitor documentation status to help prevent delays and resolve issues quickly.
- Maintain accurate records related to customs entries, import documentation, and logistics activity.
- Support compliance with international trade requirements, customs procedures, and import/export regulations.
- Communicate professionally with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and ensure smooth logistics operations.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $52,000 to $60,000 per year.
- Direct hire opportunity.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- 3-5 years of experience in customs brokerage, import documentation, logistics, or a related import/export role.
- Experience with customs brokerage processes and import documentation requirements.
- Familiarity with international trade, import/export operations, and customs compliance regulations.
- Proficiency with software systems used for customs documentation and shipment tracking.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
