Job Summary Required Qualifications and Skills
We are seeking a bilingual Customer Service Representative for a temporary opportunity in the Commerce, CA area. This role supports independent promoters and distributors by providing responsive, accurate, and friendly service through phone, email, fax, and written correspondence.
The Customer Service Representative will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment where professionalism, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are essential. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, solving problems, learning product and business processes, and contributing to a supportive customer care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Process promoter orders, applications, returns, and related documentation with a high level of accuracy.
- Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls in Spanish and English with a caring, professional, and positive approach.
- Research and resolve customer questions through phone, email, and written correspondence.
- Maintain accurate logs, records, referral tracking, quality control documentation, and account updates.
- Coordinate with internal departments including product management, warehouse, field support, design, and recognition teams to resolve promoter requests.
- Support special projects, promotional calls, surveys, month-end close activities, and other customer support needs as assigned.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $20 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Assignment duration: Approximately 90 days.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 60-minute lunch break.
- Office attendance: Daily on-site presence required.
- Location: Los Angeles, CA area, Commerce, CA.
- Process orders, applications, returns, and account-related customer service requests.
- Manage inbound and outbound calls while documenting accurate case details.
- Research customer questions and coordinate with internal departments to provide timely resolutions.
- Maintain logs, records, referrals, quality control information, and follow-up documentation.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent telephone etiquette, interpersonal skills, and customer-focused professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and follow-through.
- Proficiency with Windows-based PC applications and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to navigate computer systems while speaking with customers by phone.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
- Ability to sit for extended periods, operate a phone and computer, and lift or carry up to 20 pounds as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Experience supporting distributors, promoters, field sales teams, or direct sales organizations.
- Experience with product returns, quality control logs, customer case resolution, or account maintenance.
- Ability to learn compensation plans, contests, incentives, product information, and internal procedures quickly.
