AppleOne has partnered with a company in San Clemente seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving manufacturing or distribution environment, can manage multiple priorities, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

The company has been in business for more than 20 years and is entering an exciting growth phase following a recent acquisition. The Customer Service Representative will play a key role in coordinating customer orders, communicating across departments, supporting invoicing and purchasing activity, and helping ensure orders are processed accurately in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive and process customer sales orders submitted primarily by email and some by phone.
- Print, review, and enter orders into the company system with a high level of accuracy.
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, questions, documentation, and follow-up needs.
- Coordinate with internal departments to confirm inventory availability, resolve order issues, and support timely fulfillment.
- Work with accounting on invoicing and assist with purchase order creation and related paperwork.
- Support compliance documentation and assist with import/export paperwork as needed, with training provided.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $28.00 per hour.
- Annualized salary equivalent: $58,240.00.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Location: San Clemente, CA.




Required Qualifications and Skills

- Process customer sales orders from email and phone requests.
- Coordinate inventory, invoicing, purchase orders, and customer communication across departments.
- Maintain spreadsheets, paperwork, and compliance-related documentation.
- Support a fast-growing manufacturing or distribution operation with changing priorities.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant customer service, order processing, administrative support, or client care experience.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel spreadsheets.
- Experience using CRM, ERP, or order management systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional, helpful, and responsive communication style.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when handling paperwork, compliance documents, and order entry.
- Reliable, organized, and able to pivot quickly as priorities change.
- Positive attitude, strong follow-through, and willingness to wear many hats in a growing organization.

Preferred Qualifications

- Manufacturing or distribution industry experience.
- Experience with M3 or a similar ERP system.
- Exposure to import/export documentation or regulated industry paperwork.
- Experience supporting sales orders, purchasing, invoicing, inventory coordination, or logistics-related processes.
