A growing food and beverage production organization is seeking a Customer Service & Billing Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Ripon, CA. The Customer Service & Billing Specialist will manage customer orders from entry through delivery, support accurate invoicing and pricing updates, and communicate closely with customers, drivers, and internal departments. Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer orders from start to finish, including order entry, tracking, updates, and delivery coordination.
- Follow up on deliveries to help ensure timely, accurate fulfillment and strong customer satisfaction.
- Complete billing, invoicing, pricing adjustments, and related documentation within established guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, invoices, delivery documents, and customer communications.
- Communicate professionally with customers, drivers, customer service team members, and internal departments.
- Prepare, update, and review reports using Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, formatting, and basic data analysis.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $20.00 to $22.00 DOE per hour while temporary.
- Higher pay available upon conversion to direct hire.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Location: Ripon, CA.
- Start date: 01/05/2026.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts starting as early as 6:00 AM.
- Occasional holidays, Saturday rotation, and overtime may be required.
- Candidates must be local to the Central Valley or nearby area for a reliable commute.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage customer order processing, order entry, tracking, and delivery coordination.
- Support billing, invoicing, pricing updates, and basic accounting-related processes.
- Prepare and maintain Excel-based reports and order documentation.
- Communicate with customers, drivers, and internal teams to support accurate and timely service.
- Minimum 3 years of office-based customer service experience, or an associate degree with equivalent experience.
- Advanced Excel proficiency required, including formulas, formatting, sorting, filtering, and basic data analysis.
- Must be able to pass an Excel test with a score of 80% or higher.
- Must be able to pass a data entry and typing test.
- 2 to 3 years of experience using Excel in a professional setting preferred.
- 2 years of experience with order entry and database systems required.
- 1 to 2 years of experience with billing, invoicing, or basic accounting processes required.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Outlook.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, early mornings, holidays, Saturdays, and occasional overtime.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, follow-through, and professional communication skills.
- Must be local to the Central Valley area or nearby for a reliable commute to Ripon, CA.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in food production, food distribution, logistics, or a related high-volume order processing environment.
- Previous experience providing backup support for pricing coordination or customer service team members.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and time-sensitive customer needs.
