Job Summary
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Union City, CA. This role supports a well-established manufacturing and advanced automation environment, assisting customers with service and parts inquiries while helping ensure accurate, timely support.

Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer calls related to service, parts, and general support needs.
- Create, update, and manage field service orders with accuracy and urgency.
- Provide professional, courteous customer service to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Use industry knowledge and internal resources to respond to customer needs efficiently.
- Perform administrative and support tasks to assist service, parts, and operations teams.
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and managers to support daily workflow and customer satisfaction.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Location: Union City, CA.
- Work environment: Office-based role requiring use of standard office equipment and computer systems.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Answer and manage incoming customer service and parts calls.
- Create and maintain accurate field service orders.
- Support customer satisfaction through timely communication and follow-up.
- Perform administrative tasks and coordinate with internal teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, parts support, or a related role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional telephone manner with strong customer service focus.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Database experience or ability to learn internal systems.
- Strong multitasking skills with attention to accuracy, quality, and urgency.
- Ability to work independently with sound judgment and a proactive mindset.
- Positive attitude, flexibility, creativity, and willingness to work in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Customer service or parts-related experience within manufacturing, machine tools, automation, industrial equipment, or a similar technical industry.
- Experience supporting service teams, technicians, engineers, or field operations.
- Familiarity with service order processing, parts coordination, or customer support databases.
