Job Summary
We are seeking a Customer Service professional for a contract/temporary opportunity in Fremont, CA. This role is ideal for a customer-focused candidate with 1-2 years of experience who enjoys solving problems, supporting customers, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing or parts/service environment.
The Customer Service role will support incoming service and parts requests, create and manage field service orders, and help ensure customers receive timely, accurate, and professional assistance. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote flexibility with two set in-office days per week.

Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer service and parts calls in a professional, helpful, and timely manner.
- Create, update, and manage field service orders with accuracy, urgency, and attention to detail.
- Provide outstanding customer support by addressing questions, resolving needs, and helping ensure customer satisfaction.
- Use product, parts, or industry knowledge to assist customers efficiently and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Perform administrative and support tasks using standard office systems, databases, Word, and Excel.
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and managers to support daily service operations.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $50,000 to $63,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Answer incoming service and parts calls and provide excellent customer support.
- Create and manage field service orders accurately and efficiently.
- Support administrative tasks and coordinate with internal team members.
- Help maintain a positive customer experience through clear communication and follow-through.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, parts support, service coordination, or a related role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional, pleasant telephone manner and strong customer service focus.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and database experience.
- Strong multitasking ability with a focus on accuracy, quality, and urgency.
- Ability to work independently with sound judgment and a proactive mindset.
- Positive attitude, flexibility, creativity, and willingness to contribute in a team environment.
- Ability to work in an office environment and operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing, parts, field service, or service operations environment.
- Familiarity with field service orders, parts requests, or customer support databases.
- Prior experience working in a hybrid office environment.
