Job Summary

A growing manufacturing organization in Oxnard, CA is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator for a direct hire, onsite opportunity. This role is ideal for a contracts professional who enjoys managing customer agreements, supporting proposal activity, ensuring compliance, and partnering with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.

The Contracts Administrator will work closely with Business Development, Finance, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams in a collaborative environment where accuracy, communication, and sound judgment are valued. Key Responsibilities

- Administer and manage customer contracts throughout the full contract lifecycle.
- Review, interpret, and support negotiation of customer agreements, OEM quotations, and contract terms.
- Support proposal development, bid activity, contract documentation, and internal approval processes.
- Monitor contract performance, compliance requirements, deliverables, and customer obligations.
- Identify contractual risks and collaborate with internal stakeholders on mitigation strategies.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for contract-related questions and customer requirements.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage customer contracts throughout the contract lifecycle, including documentation, compliance, and performance tracking.
- Support proposal development, bid activity, contract negotiations, and risk review.
- Partner with Business Development, Finance, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to support customer and business requirements.
- 5 to 7+ years of progressive contracts administration experience.
- Experience negotiating both commercial and government contracts.
- Strong understanding of contract compliance, contractual risk, and risk mitigation practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Experience supporting OEM agreements.
- Proposal and bid support experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Must meet ITAR requirements.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications

- Manufacturing industry experience.
- Knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulations.
- Experience with contract lifecycle management systems.
