Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Contract Clerk for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Bossier City, LA. This administrative support role is ideal for a professional with insurance administration experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to review contracts, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with internal teams and vendors.

As a Contract Clerk, you will support important insurance administration functions related to group medical reinsurance contracts, policy audits, client data, licensing records, and vendor agreements. Key Responsibilities

- Review, interpret, and verify group medical reinsurance contracts for accuracy, compliance, and completeness.
- Audit fully insured group health, STD, LTD, Life, and AD&D insurance policies to ensure information is accurate before distribution.
- Maintain client information, state licensing records, contract files, reports, and tracking spreadsheets in company systems.
- Coordinate Business Associate Agreements with vendors and track agreement status and documentation.
- Communicate professionally with internal departments and vendors, including PPO, PBM, Utilization Review, and other service providers.
- Scan, organize, update, and maintain electronic and paper files related to contracts, policies, renewals, and group administration.

- Pay range: $14.00 to $16.00 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Review and verify group medical reinsurance contracts and insurance policy documentation.
- Maintain accurate client records, licensing information, vendor agreements, and contract files.
- Support policy audits, renewal instructions, monthly reports, and internal distribution processes.
- Communicate contract updates, vendor information, and documentation needs across departments.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant administrative, clerical, insurance, benefits administration, or TPA experience.
- Prior experience with insurance company operations, benefits administration, or third-party administrator processes preferred.
- Strong understanding of insurance policies, contracts, group benefits, or reinsurance documentation is helpful.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data entry, database updates, and spreadsheet tracking.
- Accurate typing and 10-key skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies in contracts, policies, and data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a busy administrative environment.
- Dependable, self-motivated, organized, and committed to producing high-quality work.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience reviewing group health, stop loss, STD, LTD, Life, or AD&D insurance documentation.
- Familiarity with Business Associate Agreements, vendor coordination, licensing records, and insurance compliance documentation.
- Experience working with PPO, PBM, Utilization Review, or related insurance service providers.
