Job Summary

We are seeking a Construction Project Coordinator for a direct hire opportunity in Oldsmar, FL. This office-based role supports active residential and commercial construction projects by keeping schedules, documentation, permitting, inspections, invoicing, and homeowner communication organized and moving forward.

The Construction Project Coordinator will work closely with Project Managers, field teams, subcontractors, homeowners, and program stakeholders to help ensure projects stay on track and properly documented. This is a strong opportunity for someone with construction coordination experience who enjoys structure, teamwork, and being a key communication point between the office and the field.

This role offers a collaborative project environment, supportive leadership, and the opportunity to build a long-term career path in construction project management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, comfortable working with homeowners, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Project Manager with day-to-day coordination of assigned construction projects, milestones, documentation, and follow-up items.
- Schedule subcontractors, crews, inspections, permit activity, and project-related appointments with homeowners and field teams.
- Support cost estimating, invoicing, warranty claims, and project file maintenance.
- Request inspections, track permit status, and gather required documentation to support construction progress.
- Maintain project documentation to federal program standards and keep systems of record current and accurate.
- Build and maintain builder files for superintendents and field teams to use throughout the construction process.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $55,000 to $65,000 per year.
- Location: Oldsmar, FL.
- Work pattern: Office based.
- Reports to: Project Manager.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Coordinate active construction projects, including scheduling, documentation, permitting, inspections, and homeowner communication.
- Support Project Managers with project tracking, cost estimates, invoicing, warranty claims, and construction administration.
- Maintain accurate project files, builder documentation, and program records for compliance and field use.

- 2 or more years of experience coordinating construction, restoration, or grant-funded projects.
- Strong Excel skills and experience managing project documents, files, and records.
- Experience supporting permitting, inspections, subcontractor scheduling, and project milestone tracking.
- Clear written communication skills and the ability to work directly with homeowners in a professional manner.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple project tasks, deadlines, and follow-up items.
- Local to the Oldsmar, FL region or surrounding area preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with construction management software such as Procore, RedTeam, or a similar platform.
- Experience working on residential construction, commercial construction, restoration, or federally funded construction programs.
- Familiarity with compliance documentation, systems of record, and project closeout requirements.
