We are seeking a Construction Project Coordinator for a direct hire opportunity in Newbury Park, CA. This role is ideal for an administrative professional with 1-2 years of experience in a construction, skilled trades, residential construction, or commercial construction office environment.
The Construction Project Coordinator will support the Project Manager and operations team with contracts, project documentation, lien releases, COIs, RFIs, change orders, and file management across multiple active job sites. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager and operations team with administrative coordination for active construction projects.
- Prepare contracts under supervision and submit documentation for signatures and approval.
- Coordinate lien releases, certificates of insurance, RFIs, change orders, and related project paperwork.
- Maintain organized project files, records, documents, and correspondence across multiple job sites.
- Communicate with internal teams, vendors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to support timely documentation flow.
- Perform additional administrative and project support duties as assigned.
Compensation and Benefits
- $25 to $30 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support construction project documentation, contracts, and administrative workflows.
- Coordinate lien releases, COIs, RFIs, change orders, and project-related paperwork.
- Maintain accurate files and assist with multi-site project coordination.
- 1-2 years of administrative experience in a construction, skilled trades, or related office environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, follow-through, and accuracy with documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven construction office setting.
- Professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with project managers, operations teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Bluebeam is preferred but not required.
- Prior experience supporting residential or commercial construction projects is a plus.
