Computer Technician
Location: North Charleston, SC

Work Type: 100% On-Site
Pay: $20/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (overtime as needed)

Key Responsibilities

- Receive, track, label, and manage IT assets according to established procedures.
- Install, configure, and deploy computers, operating systems, software, and related devices.
- Join devices to Microsoft Active Directory and perform system imaging tasks.
- Provide desk-side technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation, asset records, and service activity notes.
- Follow IT processes and coordinate with internal technology teams to support deployment and support goals.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support device setup, configuration, imaging, and deployment in a networked IT environment.
- Provide desk-side helpdesk support and troubleshoot technical issues for end users.
- Maintain IT asset tracking, labeling, documentation, and process compliance.
- Work with IT teams to ensure systems are properly configured and ready for use.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant computer technician, desktop support, helpdesk, or IT support experience.
- Hands-on experience with Windows 10.
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, including joining devices to the domain.
- Experience performing system imaging.
- Ability to install and configure operating systems, software, and workstation devices.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work on-site full time and follow established IT processes.

Preferred Qualifications

- A+ Certification.
- Experience with Microsoft System Center.
- Experience with BMC Footprints.
- Dell Tech Direct certification.
- Experience with Windows 10 Enterprise.
