Additional Skills

Required Qualifications:
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in client services, social services, housing support, community development, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field preferred, or 2 or more years of experience in social services or community development, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of Los Angeles County services and federal or state entitlement programs.
- Experience working with diverse populations, residents, community groups, or vulnerable communities.
- Strong facilitation, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Highly Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting seniors, mental health populations, or individuals impacted by substance use disorders.
- Crisis intervention and community engagement experience.
- Familiarity with G.I.R.P. documentation, Trauma-Informed Care, Harm Reduction, and Housing First models.
- Experience using HMIS, ICMS, and Champ systems.
- Prior experience in nonprofit housing, supportive housing, resident services, or community-based case coordination.


Key Responsibilities:     
- Assess resident needs and coordinate referrals to housing, social services, benefits, and community-based resources.   
- Facilitate resident meetings, community programs, and service coordination activities.   
- Maintain documentation, track outcomes, and support required reporting and compliance processes.  
- Build collaborative relationships with residents, internal teams, and external service partners.
