Key Responsibilities

- Pull medical records from Net Health, SharePoint, and other designated systems for claims and appeals review.
- Organize medical records according to department checklists and prepare files for reviewer evaluation.
- Maintain accurate spreadsheets to track requests, submissions, denials, appeals, and related claim activity.
- Log facility requests for claims and appeals according to department standards and manager instructions.
- Submit records online or by physical mail as required, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Communicate professionally with facilities and internal team members regarding record requests and status updates.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $23.00 to $24.00 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Pull, organize, and prepare medical records for claims and appeals review.
- Maintain accurate claims tracking spreadsheets and department logs.
- Respond to facility requests and support timely record submissions.
- Compile reports and documentation when requested by the claims team.

- College graduate.
- 1 to 2 years of related experience preferred, or strong willingness to learn in a healthcare claims environment.
- Comfortable using computers to review, organize, and compile medical records.
- Experience or willingness to learn Microsoft Excel and similar tracking tools.
- Ability to use or learn Net Health, SharePoint, and PDF Xchange.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow department checklists and instructions.
- Professional written communication skills, including the ability to write clear emails.
- Ability to communicate clearly, courteously, and effectively with internal teams and facilities.
- Fast learner who can work efficiently and productively in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized, thorough, and dependable.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience with medical records, healthcare claims, denials, appeals, or healthcare administration.
- Familiarity with PDF organization tools, electronic medical record systems, or document management platforms.
