Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier Clerk for a full-time, long-term contract opportunity in Naples, FL. This on-site role supports a busy Traffic Division office within a government and public sector environment, assisting with payment processing, customer service, reporting, and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
- Accept, process, and accurately record customer payments for traffic-related transactions.
- Handle cash, debit card, and credit card payments while following established procedures.
- Prepare daily reports, reconcile transactions, and maintain accurate payment documentation.
- Enter customer and payment information into Excel and internal software systems.
- Provide professional customer service in a fast-paced office environment.
- Perform general administrative duties, data entry, filing, and related clerical support tasks.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $18.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Occasional overtime may be required until 4:30 PM.
- Full-time, long-term contract opportunity.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Process high-volume customer payments accurately and efficiently.
- Reconcile daily transactions and prepare payment-related reports.
- Enter payment, customer, and administrative information into Excel and internal systems.
- Provide courteous customer service while supporting daily office operations.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of cashiering, cash handling, or payment processing experience required.
- Prior experience handling cash, debit card, and credit card transactions required.
- Strong data entry accuracy and computer skills required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn internal software systems required.
- Stable work history required.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and professionalism required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced public-facing office environment.
- Must be able to complete a Level II background check, DMV check, and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in banking, retail, customer service, or payment processing strongly preferred.
- Experience as a bank teller, customer service representative, retail cashier, or high-volume cashier preferred.
- Experience in environments involving frequent cash reconciliation and customer transactions preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish skills preferred, but not required.
