We are seeking a Call Center Representative for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role supports Marketplace consumers by answering questions, assisting with health care coverage applications, and providing accurate, professional customer service in a fast-paced call center environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls from consumers, prospective enrollees, and authorized representatives while following established policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
- Assist individuals and families with health care coverage applications, eligibility information, enrollment steps, and Marketplace-related questions.
- Document all inquiries, updates, and call outcomes accurately in the appropriate systems.
- Process life event changes, demographic updates, disenrollment requests, and special enrollment period requests.
- Coordinate translation services, material fulfillment, referrals, and escalations as needed.
- Participate in meetings and trainings to maintain current knowledge of programs, procedures, and systems.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Location: Remote, but MUST live in New Jersey
- Answer and resolve inbound consumer calls related to Marketplace health care coverage.
- Process applications, eligibility updates, enrollment requests, and account changes.
- Track, document, and update consumer information accurately in internal systems.
- Follow call center procedures, privacy policies, and escalation guidelines.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience required.
- 1 to 2 years of customer service or call center experience is a strong match for this role.
- Strong data entry skills with the ability to navigate computer systems accurately.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and professional verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment.
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to follow established performance standards, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher preferred.
- Previous call center experience preferred.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Experience using computers, phone systems, and headsets preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.
