This Building Engineer Position Features:
• Building Engineer - supports daily operations for Class A office properties by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and responding to tenant service requests.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems
Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and building equipment issues
Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests and emergencies
Monitor building automation systems and equipment performance
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records
Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
Support overall property operations to maintain 100% uptime standards
Qualifications:
3–5+ years of commercial building engineering experience preferred
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
Experience working in Class A commercial office buildings preferred
Universal CFC Certification preferred or required
Ability to prioritize repairs and work independently
Strong communication and customer service skills
High school diploma or GED required
Preferred Skills:
Building automation systems experience
