Job Summary

We are hiring Bilingual Spanish Event Staff for a temporary event assignment at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. Bilingual Spanish Event Staff will help create a welcoming and organized experience for attendees during a large produce and floral industry convention. This role offers competitive hourly pay, valuable event experience, supportive onsite leadership, teamwork, and the opportunity to be considered for future event assignments.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet event attendees, guests, and exhibitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide bilingual English and Spanish assistance with directions, general questions, and event information.
- Support check-in, registration, line management, guest flow, and attendee service areas as assigned.
- Maintain a positive, polished, and helpful presence throughout assigned shifts.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members to support smooth event operations.
- Follow event procedures, schedules, and onsite instructions in a fast-paced convention environment.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $19.00 per hour for Bilingual Spanish Event Staff.
- Event dates: Monday, October 12 through Friday, October 16, 2026.
- Location: Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.
- Temporary event assignment.
- Shifts will fall between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
- Candidates must have flexible availability within the event schedule.
- Working every day of the event is not guaranteed and schedules may vary based on staffing needs.
- 15+ Bilingual Spanish positions are available.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Provide guest services and attendee support during a large convention event.
- Assist with directions, information, check-in, line control, and event flow.
- Communicate professionally with attendees, guests, supervisors, and event team members.
- Represent the event team with a friendly, reliable, and service-focused attitude.

- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Friendly, outgoing, professional, and approachable personality.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced event or hospitality environment.
- Flexible availability between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM during the event dates.
- Ability to stand, walk, and interact with guests throughout assigned shifts as needed.
- 1 to 2 years of guest services, hospitality, customer service, or event experience is helpful, but not required.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in events, conventions, hospitality, customer service, guest services, or concierge-style roles.
- Experience supporting large crowds, attendee check-in, information desks, or directional assistance.
- Interest in future temporary event assignments.
