Job Summary

We are seeking Bilingual (Spanish/English) Benefits Counselor (Hybrid) candidates for a contract/temporary opportunity in Lake Mary, FL, supporting employees during the annual benefits enrollment period. This role is ideal for customer service professionals who enjoy helping others, explaining information clearly, and working in a fast-paced call center environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Answer inbound calls from employees with benefits-related questions during open enrollment.
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, plan information, website navigation, and login troubleshooting.
- Explain benefit options and processes clearly, professionally, and accurately.
- Document customer interactions and follow-up details in multiple systems.
- Make outbound follow-up calls as needed to resolve employee questions or pending items.
- Maintain strong service quality, attendance, and productivity in a high-volume call center environment.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $19.00 per hour.
- Completion bonus available for employees who meet attendance and quality expectations.
- Job type: Contract/temporary.
- Assignment length: Early August through December 31.
- Work arrangement: Hybrid in Lake Mary, FL, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
- Paid training provided.
- Training schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM to 5:30 PM EST.
- Training includes three weeks of classroom training followed by one week of nesting before transitioning to production.
- Work schedule requires flexibility Monday through Friday between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM CST.
- Overtime may be required from October through December.
- Occasional Saturdays may be required during peak enrollment season.
- No planned time off during the assignment, especially during Q4.
- Potential for permanent employment for outstanding hybrid employees after the project.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support employees by answering benefits questions and assisting with enrollment.
- Troubleshoot website, login, and basic system navigation issues.
- Accurately document calls and customer interactions while using multiple computer systems.
- Provide clear, patient, and professional service in a high-volume call center environment.
- At least 2 years of combined customer service and office experience.
- Previous contact center or call center experience is preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency, including internet navigation and common troubleshooting tasks.
- Ability to multitask across multiple systems while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain information in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Positive attitude with the ability to stay focused, productive, and service-oriented throughout the shift.
- Ability to work the required hybrid schedule and remain flexible for overtime and occasional Saturday shifts during peak season.
- Fluent English/Spanish bilingual skills. 
- Prior experience supporting benefits enrollment, employee benefits, human resources, insurance, or healthcare-related customer service is a plus.
