Job Summary
We are seeking a Part-Time Audio Visual Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Greeley, CO. This role is ideal for an experienced AV professional who enjoys supporting live events, meetings, presentations, and event technology in a customer-focused education environment.
The Audio Visual Technician will play a key role in creating smooth, professional event experiences by setting up, operating, testing, and troubleshooting audiovisual systems before, during, and after events. This position offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative team, support a variety of internal and external events, and use your technical expertise in a dynamic setting where reliability, communication, and problem-solving make a direct impact.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and support audiovisual equipment for meetings, presentations, and live events.
- Provide on-site technical support before, during, and after events to ensure smooth execution.
- Test, troubleshoot, and maintain AV equipment, sound systems, microphones, projectors, displays, and presentation technology.
- Quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize disruptions during events.
- Deliver professional customer service to clients, presenters, attendees, and internal teams.
- Maintain event spaces and audiovisual equipment in a clean, organized, and working condition.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $18.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Schedule: Part-time - Full-time

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support audiovisual setup and operation for live events, meetings, and presentations.
- Troubleshoot sound systems, microphones, displays, projectors, and presentation technology.
- Provide real-time technical support during events to ensure a seamless attendee experience.
- Coordinate with staff and event stakeholders to support successful event execution.
- 3 to 5 years of prior Audio Visual experience.
- Experience supporting live events and operating audiovisual equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of sound systems, microphones, projectors, displays, and presentation technology.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional, dependable, and able to remain calm in a fast-paced live event environment.
- Positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certificate in Audio Visual Technology, Electronics, Information Technology, Media Production, Broadcast Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with commercial AV systems, video conferencing platforms, and presentation technology.
- CTS, Certified Technology Specialist, certification is a plus.
