Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Audio-Visual Support Technician for a contract opportunity in Johnstown, CO. This role supports live events, meetings, presentations, and on-site productions by ensuring audio, video, camera, projection, microphone, speaker, and display systems operate smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up, operate, and break down audio-visual equipment for meetings, presentations, and live events.
- Operate cameras, projectors, microphones, speakers, displays, and related AV systems.
- Perform sound checks, equipment testing, and pre-event technical preparation.
- Troubleshoot audio, video, connectivity, and presentation system issues during events.
- Assist presenters, speakers, event staff, and internal teams with AV support needs.
- Safely transport, organize, maintain, and store AV equipment.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $25 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Employment type: Contract.
- Location: Johnstown, CO.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support live events, meetings, presentations, and on-site productions.
- Set up and operate AV equipment including cameras, projectors, microphones, speakers, and displays.
- Troubleshoot audio, video, connectivity, and presentation technology issues.
- Provide professional on-site technical support throughout events.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant audio-visual support, AV technician, event technician, or similar experience.
- Hands-on experience with cameras, projectors, microphones, speakers, displays, and presentation equipment.
- Ability to meet the A.D. requirement specified for this assignment.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical support skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced live-event environment.
- Ability to lift, move, organize, and maintain AV equipment as needed.
- Reliable, punctual, professional, and customer-service focused.
- Strong communication skills and ability to assist presenters and event staff effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting AV needs in an education, training, corporate meeting, or professional event environment.
- Familiarity with multi-room meeting support, hybrid presentation setups, or live production workflows.
- Ability to remain calm and responsive when resolving technical issues during active events.
