Our client, a global freight forwarding and 3PL organization, is seeking Logistics Professionals for Multiple available roles that is experienced in Air Freight Operations. This is a Temp to Hire or Direct Hire positions
Job Summary
We are hiring for multiple temp-to-hire Logistics and Air Operations positions in Grapevine, TX, supporting a fast-paced wholesale trade and import-export environment. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and process import and export air freight shipments from documentation through final delivery support.
- Prepare and review shipping documents, including air waybills, invoices, customs-related paperwork, and shipment records.
- Communicate with carriers, internal teams, vendors, and customers to provide shipment updates and resolve delays or service issues.
- Support daily air operations through data entry, filing, documentation preparation, and administrative follow-up.
- For supervisory candidates, lead air operations staff, train new team members, manage workflow, and serve as the first point of escalation.
- Maintain accuracy, urgency, and professionalism in a deadline-driven logistics and freight forwarding environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire.
- Location: Grapevine, TX.
- Air Operations Supervisor: $58,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Air Operations Specialist: $40,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Air Operations Clerk: $36,000 to $46,000 per year, depending on experience.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Supervise air operations specialists and coordinators, support training, and manage shipment issue escalations for the Air Operations Supervisor role.
- Process import and export air shipments, including documentation, carrier coordination, and customer communication for the Air Operations Specialist role.
- Support air operations with data entry, documentation preparation, filing, and general administrative tasks for the Air Operations Clerk role.
- Help maintain efficient daily workflow, accurate shipment records, and timely communication across logistics operations.
- Air Operations Supervisor: 3 or more years of air freight or logistics experience with team lead or supervisory background.
- Air Operations Specialist: 1 to 3 years of air freight forwarding or logistics experience.
- Air Operations Clerk: General logistics, supply chain, warehouse, transportation, or administrative experience preferred, with training available.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling shipping documents and data entry.
- Ability to communicate professionally with carriers, customers, and internal operations teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments, priorities, and deadlines.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to respond quickly to shipment delays, documentation issues, and operational changes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with import-export operations, air freight forwarding, or international shipping processes.
- Familiarity with air waybills, commercial invoices, customs documentation, and carrier coordination.
- Prior experience in a wholesale trade, logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or supply chain environment.
- Leadership, training, or workflow coordination experience for candidates interested in the Air Operations Supervisor role.
- Career-focused attitude with interest in growing within air freight, logistics operations, or international transportation.
