Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Aid for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity in Commerce, CA. This role is ideal for a proactive administrative professional with strong Human Resources support, bookkeeping, compliance tracking, and workers' compensation coordination experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Track company licenses, permits, and certifications to ensure renewals are completed on time and compliance requirements are maintained.
- Support Human Resources functions, including employee documentation, workplace injury procedures, and workers' compensation claim coordination.
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks, administrative recordkeeping, data entry, filing, and general office support.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to employee incidents, compliance records, licenses, permits, and internal processes.
- Communicate with internal teams, vendors, agencies, and insurance contacts as needed to support administrative and HR workflows.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support daily business operations.
Compensation and Benefits

- Occasional overtime may be required as needed.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Coordinate HR-related administrative support, including workplace injury procedures and workers' compensation documentation.
- Track and manage company licenses, permits, certifications, and renewal deadlines.
- Assist with bookkeeping, administrative reporting, filing, and record maintenance.
- Support daily office operations through organized, accurate, and timely administrative assistance.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant administrative, HR support, bookkeeping, or office support experience.
- Experience handling workplace injury procedures and coordinating workers' compensation claims.
- Familiarity with maintaining required HR, compliance, and incident documentation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to track deadlines, renewals, and detailed records.
- Bookkeeping or basic accounting support experience.
- Proficiency with general office systems, data entry, documentation, email, and file management.
- Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proactive, dependable, and comfortable supporting both Human Resources and administrative functions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting compliance, licensing, permits, certifications, or regulatory documentation.
- Experience working in a fast-paced office environment with multiple administrative priorities.
- Familiarity with bookkeeping software, spreadsheets, or HR documentation systems.
- Ability to communicate professionally with employees, management, vendors, insurance representatives, and outside agencies.
