Job Summary
A professional insurance office in the Shreveport/Bossier City area is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Admin Clerk to support daily administrative operations. This temp-to-hire Administrative Assistant opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, helping a team run smoothly, and providing excellent internal and external customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to keep daily office operations running efficiently.
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, route calls, and communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Schedule meetings, manage calendars, prepare meeting materials, and support office coordination needs.
- Draft, edit, proofread, file, and maintain documents, reports, correspondence, and records.
- Perform accurate data entry and assist with billing, expense tracking, and light bookkeeping tasks.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, emails, office supplies, and special administrative projects as assigned.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $13.00 to $14.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Job Type: Temp-to-hire.
- No weekends.
- Location: Bossier City, LA and Shreveport/Bossier City area.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support daily office administration, document management, scheduling, and data entry.
- Handle phone calls, inquiries, email communication, and internal office coordination.
- Assist with billing, expense tracking, filing, records maintenance, and light bookkeeping.
- Support team members with special projects and daily operational tasks.
- 1 to 2 years of administrative, clerical, or office support experience, with 2 years strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization, time management, and follow-through.
- High attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Adaptable, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in an insurance, financial services, or professional office environment.
- Experience supporting billing, expense tracking, or basic bookkeeping tasks.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally by phone and email.
