Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst with required SaaS industry experience for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity in the Murrieta and Temecula, CA area. This role is ideal for an experienced FP&A professional who understands subscription-based revenue models and enjoys turning financial data into meaningful business insights.

The Senior Financial Analyst will support a growing SaaS organization by building financial models, analyzing recurring revenue metrics, preparing forecasts, and partnering with leadership on strategic planning. This is a strong opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional who wants visibility, impact, and the ability to influence business decisions in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, budgets, dashboards, and performance reports.
- Analyze SaaS financial metrics, including ARR, MRR, ACV, churn, customer retention, and recurring revenue trends.
- Monitor KPIs and provide insight into revenue performance, profitability, operating expenses, and financial variances.
- Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to support financial planning, forecasting, and business decisions.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, management presentations, and business performance summaries.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, forecasting processes, and operational efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits

- Annual salary range: $100,000 to $120,000 per year.
- Full-time, direct-hire opportunity.
- Hybrid schedule with onsite work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the Murrieta/Temecula area.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Develop financial models, budgets, forecasts, and performance reporting for a SaaS business.
- Analyze recurring revenue metrics, customer retention, churn, and revenue trends.
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards, variance analysis, and leadership presentations.
- Support FP&A activities and provide financial insights for strategic business decisions.

- Professional financial analysis or FP&A experience within a SaaS company is required.
- 6 to 10 years of relevant financial analysis experience preferred based on role level.
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models, subscription revenue, and recurring revenue metrics.
- Hands-on experience analyzing ARR, MRR, ACV, churn, customer retention, and SaaS KPIs.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and present financial information to leadership.
- Ability to work onsite in the Murrieta/Temecula area Tuesday through Thursday.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Sage Intacct.
- Experience with Salesforce.
- Experience with Tableau, Power Pivot, or other financial reporting and business intelligence tools.
- Experience supporting financial planning and reporting within a growing SaaS organization.
