AppleOne is working with a client who is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant to join their growing team!
This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the company’s overall financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, experience with general ledger entries, reconciliations, and invoice processing, and will be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain financial records, including journal entries and general ledger maintenance
Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts
Process accounts payable and receivable
Assist in month-end and year-end close procedures
Generate financial reports for internal use
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
1+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
