We’re looking for a hyper-organized and collaborative Workplace Specialist to help support workplace operations based out of our clients' Menlo Park, CA location.
This role focuses on optimizing how teams work together, driving engagement initiatives, and ensuring our workplace supports collaboration, innovation, and employee wellbeing.
Qualifications:
? 5+ years of recent experience in workplace management, hospitality or event management
? Strong interpersonal skills, thrives on being the face of the office and driving the company culture
? Excellent problem solving skills, with an ability to recognize opportunities and develop ways of addressing them
? Interest in hosting in-person events as well as online hybrid team building activities
? Passion for building and maintaining a tight-knit community within the workplace
? Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail and a proven ability to take ownership of multiple projects
? Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and emotional intelligence
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Highly adaptable to change and ambiguity
? Ability to work autonomously with strong follow through and tenacity
? Comprehensive knowledge of Slack and Google GSuite Apps: Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides
Job Duties:
? Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with Workplace and Real Estate stakeholders.
? Coordinate with Workplace colleagues, cross-functional partner teams, and functional leaders, to successfully drive workplace and real estate projects to completion.
? Plan, manage, and deliver workplace improvement initiatives (e.g., office redesigns, in-office work solutions and activations, collaboration tools rollouts).
? Lead and manage cross-functional workplace projects, including space planning, vendor transitions, process implementation, and major upgrades, from scoping through to execution and post-project evaluation.
? Collaborate with Real Estate, Workplace Design, and external contractors to plan and execute buildout and renovation projects, including budgets, schedules, and progress reporting.
? Partner with internal stakeholders to develop pilot programs and iterate based on results.
? Recommend and implement continuous improvements based on data, feedback, and evolving organizational needs.
? Maintain the excellent condition and organization of the office, including updates to furniture, tracking company assets, and upholding impeccable cleanliness standards
Pay: up to $80k salary
M-F Schedule, 8am to 5pm
100% onsite in Menlo Park, CA
6 month contract to start with potential for going permanent
