Job Title: Paralegal – Workers’ Compensation
Location: Remote (Florida-based candidates only; 1–2 weeks onsite training required)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: Based on experience (flexible) + Full Benefits + Year-End Holiday Bonus
Overview:
An established Florida law practice is seeking a dedicated Paralegal to support one attorney in the Workers’ Compensation practice area. This role offers flexibility with remote or hybrid work arrangements after initial in-office training. Equipment will be provided if needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft discovery requests and responses under attorney supervision
Schedule and coordinate records custodian depositions
Draft, serve, and respond to subpoenas
Manage discovery deadlines and maintain case calendars
Draft medical records requests and review medical documentation
Prepare medical records composites and organize exhibits for trials and depositions
Communicate with clients, medical providers, and courts
Assist the attorney in managing caseloads and trial preparation
Requirements:
Strong reading and writing skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience with Adobe Acrobat
Ability to conduct online research and communicate with medical providers and records custodians
Professional telephone etiquette
Preferred Skills:
Workers’ Compensation experience required
Familiarity with DOAH/OJCC and e-filing
Experience with MyCase or similar file management software
Prior paralegal or legal support experience
