Welder II – TIG / MIG / Fabrication

Location: Greeley, CO
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $24–$30/hr (DOE)

We are seeking a skilled Welder II to join a fast-paced fabrication shop specializing in ASME code and non-code work. This role is ideal for a welder who takes pride in quality, safety, and teamwork, and who can adapt between welding, fitting, and fabrication as needed.

What You’ll Do

-Perform code and non-code welding to ASME standards
-Weld using GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW per WPS
-Meet high-quality expectations, including 100% NDT when required
-Cut, fit, and fabricate materials using oxy-fuel, plasma, saws, mag-drill, and grinders
-Read and work from blueprints and work orders
-Operate shop equipment and forklifts safely
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
-Collaborate with team members to improve skills and efficiency

What We’re Looking For

-Code welding experience (ASME Sec VIII/IX, B31.3, AWS D1.1 or D17.1)
-Strong mechanical aptitude and fabrication experience
-Ability to work in a manufacturing/shop environment
-Safety-focused, accountable, and team-oriented mindset
-Willingness to learn new processes and take on challenges
-Ability to read drawings and perform basic welding-related math

Weld Test Requirements

3G Plate Test – GMAW Vertical Up (¾” plate)

4G Plate Test – GMAW Overhead (¾” plate)

Physical Requirements

-Weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
-Lift up to 50 lbs regularly (100 lbs occasionally)
-Stand, bend, climb, and move throughout the shop as needed
