Welder
Location: Shreveport, LA
Great pay- 60K to 75K
We’re hiring an experienced welder for shop fabrication and production work. This is a hands-on role for someone who can weld, fit, and work independently in a fast-paced shop environment.
Job Duties:
Perform welding using MIG, TIG, and/or Stick
Fit, cut, grind, and assemble metal parts
Read and work from blueprints and work orders
Inspect welds for quality and accuracy
Operate hand tools and shop equipment safely
Maintain a clean work area and follow safety rules
Other shop duties as needed
Requirements:
Previous welding experience required
Welding school or certifications a plus
Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
Dependable, safety-minded, and detail-oriented
Able to work independently or as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods
Lift up to 50 lbs
Work in a hot, noisy shop environment
