A well-established wealth management firm in Greenville is seeking a Wealth Management Associate to provide high-level operational, client service, and executive support to financial advisors.

This role is ideal for an experienced wealth management professional who has previously supported senior financial advisors, partners, or executive leadership and is comfortable assisting with both client relationship management and financial planning preparation. The position combines elements of paraplanning, investment operations, and executive-level administrative support in a fast-paced advisory environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct executive-level support to financial advisors, assisting with client management, planning preparation, and day-to-day practice operations
• Prepare financial planning materials, investment proposals, meeting agendas, and client presentation documents
• Assist advisors with paraplanning tasks including gathering client financial data, preparing planning documentation, and coordinating follow-up actions
• Manage advisor calendars, coordinate client meetings, and maintain organized records of client interactions and case notes
• Serve as a primary point of contact for client service requests, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
• Process account transactions including transfers, rollovers, distributions, and account updates
• Onboard new clients and maintain accurate client data within CRM and portfolio management systems
• Track client requests and advisor action items to ensure timely completion
• Support ongoing client relationship management and practice operations

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience supporting financial advisors within a wealth management, financial planning, or investment advisory firm
• Prior experience performing paraplanning or financial planning support duties strongly preferred
• Experience providing direct support to senior advisors, partners, or executive leadership
• Familiarity with CRM and portfolio management platforms such as Redtail, Orion, or similar systems
• Strong understanding of financial account administration, including transfers, distributions, and rollovers
• South Carolina insurance license preferred or willingness to obtain
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses preferred or willingness to obtain
• Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Professional communication skills and ability to interact confidently with high-net-worth clients
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
