Job Summary
We are seeking a Wastewater Project Engineer for a direct hire opportunity in Goodyear, AZ. This role is ideal for an experienced civil or environmental engineering professional who wants to contribute to meaningful wastewater infrastructure projects from early planning through design, permitting, and construction support.
The Wastewater Project Engineer will work as part of collaborative design and process teams supporting complex municipal and industrial wastewater projects. This position offers the opportunity to work with technical specialists, discipline design professionals, clients, and regulatory agencies while helping deliver infrastructure solutions that support long-term community and environmental needs.

Key Responsibilities
• Support the development of wastewater treatment strategies, treatment process selection, process design criteria, and technical project deliverables.
• Assist with planning, design, permitting, and construction-phase services for wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with clients, internal technical specialists, and discipline design professionals to support successful project delivery.
• Prepare and support technical reports, design documentation, construction drawings, specifications, proposals, and presentations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary project teams to help meet client goals, regulatory requirements, budgets, and schedules.
• Conduct fieldwork and site visits during planning, design, and construction phases, with occasional travel as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $70,000 to $90,000 per year.
Job Type: Direct Hire.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering PE license 5-12 years of experience in the field of wastewater-related infrastructure, including project engineering/management (planning, design, and construction) Experience in successfully delivering supporting projects spanning multiple years in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams Proficient in all MS Office based computer software Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and capable of interacting effectively with staff, clients, and regulatory agencies Self-starter with attention to detail Strong organizational skills Must be capable of presenting complex issues to nontechnical people Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Civil/Environmental Engineering
