Required Qualifications and Skills
We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk / Warehouse Quality Associate for a temp-to-hire opportunity in a small, team-oriented utility warehouse environment. This onsite role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on warehouse work, quality inspection, product sorting, and repetitive detail-focused tasks.
This position offers steady weekday hours, a supportive team setting, and the opportunity to build warehouse quality assurance experience. Candidates who take pride in accuracy, consistency, and reliability will do well in this role. You will work closely with a small warehouse team where dependable attendance, teamwork, and attention to detail are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect gas pipe connectors for rust, chips, stains, and other visible quality issues.
- Check gauges to ensure proper fit and product accuracy.
- Sort products based on quality standards and inspection results.
- Maintain consistent productivity while performing repetitive inspection tasks.
- Follow warehouse safety guidelines and quality assurance procedures.
- Support the team by keeping work areas organized and ready for daily production needs.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $18 per hour.
- Overtime pay: $27 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Overtime: Mandatory overtime as needed.
- Work location: Onsite.
- Inspect and sort warehouse products according to quality standards.
- Check product fit using gauges and visual inspection methods.
- Perform repetitive hands-on quality inspection throughout the shift.
- Support daily warehouse quality assurance and safety expectations.
- 1-2 years of warehouse, quality inspection, production, or related experience preferred.
- Must be detail-oriented and comfortable with repetitive work.
- Ability to repetitively lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to stand in one spot for an 8-10 hour shift.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and finger movements throughout the shift.
- Must wear steel-toed boots or shoes.
- Reliable attendance, strong focus, and a team-oriented work style are required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehouse quality control, product inspection, sorting, or assembly experience.
- Experience working with small parts, connectors, fittings, or utility-related products.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and fast-paced production environments.
