Job Summary

The Warehouse and Purchasing Specialist will help ensure materials, components, supplies, and inventory are available, accurate, organized, and properly documented to support production and business operations. This position offers the opportunity to work in a stable, team-oriented environment where accuracy, accountability, and proactive communication are highly valued.

This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on warehouse activity with purchasing coordination, vendor communication, inventory control, and process improvement. The right candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working closely with operations, production, purchasing, and supply chain teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, inventory organization, material movement, and order fulfillment.
- Support purchasing activities by coordinating purchase orders, vendor follow-up, delivery schedules, and material availability.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, research discrepancies, and help ensure proper documentation.
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and internal teams to support timely material flow and operational priorities.
- Monitor inventory levels, identify shortages or overstock risks, and communicate purchasing or replenishment needs.
- Help improve warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, purchasing processes, and overall supply chain efficiency.
- Vehicle Maintenance (follow up on truck maintenance, recalls, inventory, repairs etc.)
- Jobsite Deliveries

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Pay range: $28.00 to $31.00 per hour.
- Location: Pleasanton, CA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Coordinate warehouse receiving, inventory control, material movement, and stockroom organization.
- Support purchasing, purchase order tracking, vendor communication, and material replenishment.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through documentation, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution.
- Partner with production, operations, and supply chain teams to support on-time material availability.

- 6 to 10 years of experience in warehouse operations, purchasing, inventory control, logistics, or a related supply chain function.
- Experience in electronics, components, semiconductor manufacturing, or a similar technical manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, receiving, stocking, purchasing coordination, and warehouse documentation.
- Ability to work with ERP, MRP, inventory management, or purchasing systems.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Effective communication skills for working with vendors, internal departments, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and support changing operational needs.
- Dependable, organized, and proactive work style with a commitment to quality and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience handling electronic components, parts, assemblies, or materials used in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing.
- Familiarity with purchasing documentation, supplier follow-up, lead times, and material planning practices.
- Experience supporting cycle counts, physical inventory, kitting, shipping, receiving, or production material control.
- Knowledge of warehouse best practices, inventory accuracy procedures, and process improvement methods.
