We are seeking a Warehouse Worker for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Idaho Falls, ID. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on warehouse operations, equipment operation, inventory accuracy, and working as part of a dependable team.
As a Warehouse Worker, you will support shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, inventory control, and general warehouse organization. This position offers a steady weekday schedule, competitive hourly pay, and the opportunity to grow into a long-term role with a team-focused operation. Key Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to move, stack, relocate, and organize products throughout the warehouse.
- Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming products according to warehouse procedures.
- Pick, pack, relabel, verify, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, product inspections, and returned inventory processing.
- Assist drivers with loading requirements, trailer organization, and shipment readiness.
- Maintain clean and safe warehouse areas, including use of sweepers or scrubbers as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Rate: $20 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
- During the first two months of the assignment, candidates will be required to work 6 days per week.
- Support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment operations.
- Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment.
- Verify orders, paperwork, product counts, and shipment accuracy.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to operate a forklift and lift up to 56 lbs.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, order verification, and documentation.
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work effectively with team members across departments.
- Must be able to complete required medical screening and background check process.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of forklift experience preferred.
- 6 months of forklift experience may be accepted for otherwise qualified candidates.
