Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience highly preferred
Knowledge & Skills
Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs manually
Strong multitasking and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively with all departments, peers, and management
Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications
Ability to operate basic office equipment:
Calculator
Telephone
Fax machine
Copier
Printer
Basic math skills required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to operate warehouse cleaning equipment, including sweepers and scrubbers
Responsibilities
Job Purpose
Operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and store product safely and accurately
Support shipping and receiving operations while meeting safety, security, and productivity standards
Core Responsibilities
Perform defensive receiving of product, including put-away
Conduct cycle counts, recounts, and inventory audits
Pick product using SAP pick lists
Audit picked orders for accuracy and completeness
Clean and inspect bins and warehouse locations
Repack and relabel products for inventory and customer orders
Audit relabeled products and associated paperwork
Fill returnable bins
Assist drivers with special loading requirements, including:
Trailer loading
Rearranging product on trailers
Relocate product within warehouse locations
Perform in-house transfers
Audit returned product and relabel as needed to return items to good stock
Troubleshoot daily shipping issues and implement appropriate resolutions
